I've looked over the posts in this section and I haven't seen anything on tin cans. Do any of you guys save them? If so..what do you get for them? Is it even worth doing?

If it is metal.....they'll take them rusty or not. I cleaned out a friend's garage once that was originally his grandfather's workshop. There were tons of cans that were badly rusted. Most had holes while many others were just rust. We threw them on the load of scrap iron we were piling up and took them in.

As for the original question, metal cans (not aluminum ones) don't pay anymore than regular scrap iron. I just throw them on my load when taking one in to the scrap yard.
