You always have a first in this hobby! Today was no exception. I hunted a tot lot sand box today and dug what I thought was going to be the typical coin recovery. Looking down into my scoop I saw several clad coins
and four one dollar bills! All the bills were folded together with some of the coins sticking to the paper bills. I've eyeballed bills before while detecting but never dug some up before! The bills were mixed in with about $ 1.00 in change!
Also uncovered a sterling charm and a silver ring in the sand box.
After the sand box I headed to a park and dug 4 wheaties and two silver rings. You just never know what's going to be dug!
