I normally don't have time to hunt on Saturdays but made an exception today. I am going to try and hunt more this year. I've been so busy the last few years I slowed down on hunting and posting... even had to rebuild my profile here.

I recently acquired a Shadow X2 and wanted to give it a swing. Me and a friend hunted part of a backyard to a house built in 1961. As late as the house is I didn't expect to find much silver if any at all. Got 2 silver Rosies and 2 Wheats but only one zinc. 4 keepers to one zinc was pretty nice. I hunted the front yard last month with a Sidewinder. It was the norm with more clads than keepers...64 clad coins versus a silver Washington and several Wheats.

Another neat thing that came up today was a 1962 Texas license plate...

Awesome jcobb! We might need to get together for a hunt someday. I was looking at the pocket watch in your album...that x-ray is super cool!

Nice finds! welcome back.
