These boxes I have been getting recently dated 6/8/07 have been some great boxes. The very first one I saw with this date I really didn't think it was going to be good, but so far they have been kind to me. These two produced the best count of the 64's yet. Also, one of the 68's appears to be a proof but I just can't tell for sure.

I also found another "magic" coin today. Found one Friday and another today. This one took me a while to get it to pop open....5 minutes....how can that be magic...ha.

Also found two proofs in these boxes....same roll. One is in very bad shape. Seems like I have been finding quite a few of these really bad shape proofs. There doesn't seem to be a market for circulated proofs and these bad shape proofs are worth nothing more than face value.....oh well.

The totals.....

17-64's
6-65's
14-66's
36-67's
36-68's
16-69's
1-54-D (My usual onesie..twosie....ha)
1-74-S
1-85-S (Although I would not call this a keeper...terrible shape)
1-82 (Designer initials missing....No FG)
1-82-P "Magic"

130 Keepers

Well done! I still haven't tried to box thing yet, but I will soon.

On the magic coins, I'm actually a magician and use these types of coins. Sometime soon, I'm going put out a blanket offer to buy these and get them back into the hands of the magicians here in Texas. Probably at the price of a 90% silver. It depends on how damaged they are while out in the "wild".

The national magicians convention is next month. I hear horror stories all the time of special coins being dropped into the Coke machine by magicians because it was in their pocket at the time. Opps, they had done a trick and ditched it in their pocket, later they realized its spent - #$@!!!

Most of the magic coins my fellow CRH won't be able to detect like the zombie or the dime penny, just the halves, the sac/susan-b and maybe some of the hollow quarters and one type of magnetic quarter.

Thanks all. I am pretty excited about these new date boxes although somewhat confused at the same time. The boxes I was getting dated 04/07 were bad.....these 06/07 boxes have produced nicely....not a bad one yet.

Do these coins sit in a big bin waiting to be boxed until they get a certain amount of them or do they box them as they get them from banks? Maybe a bank sent a load in that was loaded with silver....I just don't know.

You wrote about a 68 that you thought might be a proof but you weren't sure.Does it have an S mint mark?

All proofs from 68 on must have an S mint mark ;).
