I know you won't belive this....

I posted my finds for the Memorial weekend under the topic name "smiles from ear to ear", one of my prizes was a very nice '79 Susan B. Anthony (in the first picture below). Last night my wife took the kids to the park and I decided to tag along with my trusty "Ace". We were only there for a little over 1/2 an hour and I had only found 6 clad cents, nothing to exciting anyways. Right before we left I decided to check around the benches by the basketball court. Much to my suprise the first, and only, signal I got was a strong $1 that made the ace go off like a bell. Not 6 blocks away and 4 days later I have found my second '79 Susan B.
I didn't clean the second one up to much yet because I wanted to get a picture of them both together to try to show that I wasn't double posting the same coin (who would do that). Thanks for looking and HH.

I must have had the camera at an angle, I held them together and they are the same size.

How strange I found a 1979 Susan B Monday . huh small world

ARRRGGG why can't I get the dates to show on my coin pics? I tried the cam in Micro and also to scan do I need to resrt the canner srttings?

I had the same problem originally, I had to go into the "menu" select the camera options and change a few of the settings. I changed the "whit balance" to indoor, the "sharpness" to +2, THe "flash level" to -2, and the "exposure" to -0.7EV. This worked for my camera, not sure if you have the same options. GL

dollar coins are sweet anytime --rare to find the susans ---folks did not like them much so not many were used / lost---hey bleachers at any of ball feilds are a great spot---(esp the football feild) if their the old open frame type even better---folks jumping up and down cheering wildly --shaking and dumping change waving their arms flinging rings and bracelets off ---whats not to love about spots like this ---trash lots of trash and iron from the bracings but it can produce some class rings too---I don't have any doubts on your claims---there not "wild" claims by far---Ivan

Hello anyone having camera problems,

I noticed your having some problems getting clear images. Here are some pointers if your using a camera, first make sure your camera is set on the close up setting usually a little flower icon. 2nd try and hold your camera a little farther back from the item your taking a picture of. Also some cameras have a auto focus you have to press the button just halfway to focus before you take your shot. I hope this helps
