Markings on the back "WM Rodgers." And then farther up the spoon an "IS" Hallmark. Found it near a WWI Era Mexican Revolution American Military Camp..

Hoping to learn more about the spoon or company and if it would most likely be tied to this sight... If the spoon could be from the same time era... 1910- 1920...

WM Rogers made tons of silver/flat ware. Very little of it was silver and was always marked "sterling". Your piece is a nice plated piece from the early 1900's. You can still buy replacement pieces Rogers silverware today.

In dealing with sterling or coin silver flat ware, the thinner it is the older it is.Way back when, silver was worth alot.Utensils were made thin as possible because of that. value.I have a mid 1700s teaspoon, youll bend it just by looking at it,not from wear, thats how it was made.

The pattern name has been called both Burgundy and Champagne, and dates to 1934.
