Can you see what type of coating is on the wires that are left ?
If you can see that it would help date the lamp .
It looks like something out of the 30's or 40's but that is just a guess.
Also clean off a little and see if you can find any names or numbers that will help also.

I think it is a cloth coating.

If it is an old wax cloth type wire then it would be around the late 1800's to the early Teen's .
You can look up the wire type online and it will tell you the date.
I got some out of a house that was built in 1904 and kept it to show people.
It looked scary to me to use in a house lol , but that is all they had.

Looks like rusted iron pieces? Is there something else that could be narrated about these snaps?
