I know I'm crazy but. . .
I got my Whites Prizm III a few days ago and I have watched the instruction video about 5 times just thinking that it would keep me occupied (there is 2 feet of snow on the ground). Finally this morning, I had to go out and snow blow the drive way in the 17 degree weather. I figured since I was already dressedfor the occation, after I finished the driveway (its about 100 feet long) I went to the back yard and commenced to snow blowing there. I got about a third of the back yard done (I have a really big backyard), then went and got the Prizm. My son who is 6 was so excited he couldn't stand it! I turned on the machine and not 5 seconds into a sweep I get a signal. The prizm is telling me its about 4 inches down so I grab a shovel (believe it or not the ground really wasn't frozen) and commenced to digging. My son being the hepful child that he is decided to start throwing the chuncks of dirt, I had to inform him that out treasure could be in those clods; he stopped. Well as we searched we finally came across our find, a 1969 penny. The way my son reacted you would have thought it was solid Gold! So we can chalk this find up as our first with the Prizm III. After this we came across a rock that obviously had a lot of metal in it because we picked it up as well. That ended our search for today, but I think tomorrow might be another good day if we can just get the snow to hold off (Its really cold to go trough the dirt without gloves)
