Hello, my name is Mike and I'm from Winchester VA, and I've been hunting about 20 years. I've spent hours today going through your ID's and I'm astounded by the collection of knowledge presented here. Thank you for all of your expertise and insight, as I learned quite a bit about some items in my personal collection, most notably the items in my ???? box. I look forward to posting some whatsits and maybe chiming in on a few items here and there.

Happy Hunting!

Mike

Well, the key to this board working has a lot to do with just the collective experiences. Some of the hardest things are hard because they're part of something, and it takes someone who just happens to have seen that part before. Of course, a lot of it is also more or less astute selection of search terms for the search engines. Then you can look like you know a lot. :D

Welcome . This blind hog has only id'ed a couple of acorns in the last year before the more exoerienced folks .
The real beauty here is the willingness to help with few rocks thrown .

Welcome! Stick around a while.

We need all the help we can get with some of these items, and you may be just the person to figure a few of them out.

Best Wishes,

I already see most of the 'hall of fame' above, other than PBK, although he's getting slow in his old age

If we do that, then I would look and sound like an idiot. Oh, I probably already do. Never mind.

1. Googleholic

One who is obsessed with anything Google.
or
One who can't live without Google search.

Man, I can't live without Google anymore. I'm officially a Googleholic.

Well it looks like you took the first step in getting the help you need.Admitting that you have a problem
is the first step Daryl.I didn't have to Google that I seen that on TV.

So far it seems like a slow night on the forum. We could see who has retained the most useless bit of information.

How about white cats with one blue eye and one green eye are usually deaf.
