I just sold this error $1.00 bill. Did I get a good deal?

I had this bill in an envelope ever since I found it probably 30+ years ago. I recently took it to a large coin show at the convention center here in Pittsburgh. One dealer offered $100, another $110. I was surprised it was worth that much and let it go for $110. Now I'm wondering if that was a decent price?

Is it an actual error note, or a one-off mint mistake? I’d guess that to be a decent price for what I’m seeing. Congrats

Well buy a silver round or 2.
There's the had/have in life.

Did you check ebay completed auctions ?

Why wonder now? I once was playing a slot in Las Vegas. It paid a little and I called it good. As soon as I got off it this spunky little grey haired lady jumped right on it. I pause to watch her. In 3 pulls she hit $1200. I say not so load, OMG. Right then another little grey haired old lady who was behind me put her hand on my shoulder and said, Honey you should never look back. That was it for me and I haven't dropped a nickel in a slot machine ever again. But I do hope you receive good new about your deal if you have to know.

All I can say is I got a lot more than I expected, so I guess that makes it a good deal :laughing7:

It's called a Printed Fold Error--like this one:

Should you or anyone else find a bill error, I suggest you submit it first to PMG for authentication and grading.
If you are satified with what you received, that's great. You probably sold yours to a dealer who has to make a profit. If so, the retail value of this bill is greater than what you received.
