Just got back from a day on the river. I dug my first "baby" US beltplate. I also dug a neatly folded over US boxplate and some odds and ends. I also stumbled across a canvas bag containing a laptop and briefcase stuffed with someones personal papers. I managed to contact them a few minutes ago, and it turns out their house was robbed a week ago. This is the only thing to turn up so far. They seem very happy to be getting this back at least. Pictured are my days better finds to include the back of the baby US and a close up of the boxplate. Thanks for checking it out!

Alright buddy! :headbang: Looks like you got one of each, a Standard sized U.S. and a Baby U.S. Plate. Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Nice finds, I live on the Potomac River and thought about trying to detect some areas but without a jet motor its hard to get to areas this time of year. Great finds.

Thanks for the comments everyone. And JmCraz8... I wonder as well why someone folded it that way. That's half the fun of finding stuff like that has been "worked on". Keeps us guessing! Thanks again...
