I need a P.O. box for my business. I use this post office for all my ebay shipping. They even say hi to me by name.

The funny thing is, the town that this box is in does not exist. There is not one resident or home in that town. 100 years ago it was a mail stop for the train acsoss the street. The town is a postoffice, mex restauraunt and 2-3 other small shops.

Some POs are awesome, some are a nightmare. I wont even use the PO on base anymore after 1 too many bad experiences (causing me to lose some money). I drive the extra 5 mins to the PO in the center of town now where they give me no trouble at all and I am greeted with a smile.

Funny you bring up the military in your post. When I was serving our country I always frequented the shops off base. When I was on base and needed to get things, groceries and what not, I was always made to feel like a 2nd class citizen. My wife detested going on base because of this. It seemed that everyone hated their job and unless you had something other than Chevrons or Rockers on your collar, you were treated like spit....

While you are entitled to your opinions and I respect them, my post has absolutely nothing to do with the military or conditions on base. I am referring to one particular lousy post office that happens to be on base. Just wanted to clarify.

The base I was on was OK, but once you got off base everyone really liked you. I can still remember some of the friendy things i heard.

"Hey, sailor I LOVE YOU ONE TIME" ;D
or
"Hey, sailor BUY ME DRINK" :tongue3:
