I just bought an ace from kellyco an it says

Could be some one at kellyco hit the wrong numbers on the adding moshine or he could have been drinking moon shine. I would say that Kellyco does have a way of streching things a bit.

should have traded their extras for a extra coil, I did, it works a lot better than their extras

The price you see there, which says Free & Optional Accessories, includes the $140.00 value of the Automax V4 you can purchase for $20.00 with your detector.

Jason:
Can you trade out the optional accessories for the ace 250 for somthing like a sniper coil or a Excelerator coil

Welcome to Kellyco Metal Detectors Jason! Your request has been directed to the Domestic Sales department. Please wait for one of our Domestic Sales representatives to answer your call.
Your call has been accepted by operator Wanda. Currently in room: Wanda, Jason.

Wanda:
hi Jason, no we cannot do that with an extra coil

Jason:

:'(

I think they did mine because I bought an ETRAC. they let me trade all the extras for a 6 inch excelerator

Ok, then what exactly, if anything (in the ad) , is FREE then? The whole thing sounds a bit confusing which COULD lend itself to being deceptive.
Advertising should be clear and concise. Small print should be outlawed.

Especially for Oldie like me.

What did you expect, truth in advertising? :laughing7:

I just got off the phone with Kellyco. the guy I talked to was a total idiot. I told him what I wanted and he told me where to find it on their website. huh? first of all it's not my job to find stuff on their website when I'm talking to them.
second, when I tried to find it, I couldn't. and the guy basically treated me like I was lying to him. and when I asked to talk to his supervisor, he told nobody was there. I need a job where I get paid to sit on my butt and get paid and nobody
is around to supervise.
they may be a advertiser here, but that doesn't mean I have to buy anything from them, EVER.

I have never had any luck with them either.

Too much drama on the phone. I think they forgot who the customer is.

I do not do business with them sponsor or not.

I prefer the smaller dealer's, some of who are on Tnet.

I may not get anything "free" but I keep my self respect and peace of mind.

jasonbo: You could offer Kellyco a Round Rock Donut for a extra Garrett coil.

This is what comes free with the Ace 250 from Kellyco:
Kellyco Free Accessories

* Pro Deluxe Headphones
* State-by-State Treasure Guide CD
* Composite Digger
* Kellyco 3 Pocket Coin Pouch
* Deep Pocket Coin Pouch
* Finders Log
* Garrett Guide: How To Find Lost Treasure
* Trial Subscription to "Lost Treasure" Magazine

All the Buy pages have a breakdown that list what items come with the detectors from the manufacturer (if any), the free items Kellyco throws in and then any optional accessory sales we are currently running.

Ms. Blaze

Thank you for the clarification.

When I bought a 250 from Kellyco it was very clear I thought. I don't go for the misleading stuff either but instead shop for value at best price balanced by service.
