I hope this o.k?

I was going to buy a buckabilly sluice but had to sell some peace dollars first, the guy from buckabilly said he was interested in a trade as I had five silver dollars that I would have traded even as he would have got the better deal. Well he had his wife call back the next day after he checked on the dates of the dollars, she then tells me he was offering me 33 dollars for my silver and I could send the difference for the sluice(trying to rip me off). I sold all five and got 125 dollars and ordered a keene sluice instead and glad I did as its a great sluice, he should of just said to sell them and order a sluice and he would have got my business, I wouldn't suggest anyone to order buckabilly from him now. He's not trustworthy enough to stand behind his product if you had a problem I believe, matter of fact when I got a call back he had his wife call and could here him in the background when I was asking if thats the price for just one of the dollars and that was the price for all of them I'm sure he had her call cause he knew he was trying to get over on me.

Brian is a great guy. I've done business with him and I wouldn't hesitate to do more. We had open an open dialog for the beginning of our interaction, all the way to the end.

i bought one of the Buckabilly sluices some years back and these people were just great to deal with!sorry to hear of your differance of opinion with them!id still buy from them if i needed one!

Thank you for the very kind words fellas.

When I decided to do form Gold Rush Guys, I knew starting out that we weren't going to be the biggest prospecting supply or metal detecting company. We knew we faced stiff competition from the internet and ebay. So our goal was to carry what we think are the best product, for a fair price and simply deliver on what we say we will. We charge people actual shipping, or else we ship the best possible way for what we charge. When we order products, we keep the packaging peanuts to hold our costs down. We try and give people reliable customer service. One of my biggest gripes, is when someone tells me they will ship Tuesday, and a week or two goes by and you still don't have it!

I think I read this in a Chinese restaurant once: "The sour taste of poor service will out last the sweetness of a cheap price."

There's a well known prospecting company on ebay selling Jobe classifiers for $10ea, but they charge $39 shipping! I get asked why I don't sell my Jobe classifiers for $10. I have to explain that I don't charge $39 to ship one!

Wingmaster, I'm truly sorry that you had such a bad experience with Buckabilly. I bought a used one about a year and a half ago from a friend of mine. Before I ever thought about forming Gold Rush Guys. It's delivers every time out. I let my freinds borrow it whenever they want and they call it "money". (It's one of the reasons we decided to be a Buckabilly dealer.)

Here's one of their cleanups:

My dealings with the folks have always been great. If you ever want a Buckabilly sluice, come see us. I'm not going to offer to buy any silver, Gold maybe. LOL

I don't like to be jerked around and if it's not right, we will do everything in our power to make it right. (I'm proud that I have over 3400 feedback on ebay and I'm at 100%. That carries over to our business.)

Good Hunting! Go out and get some of the "Yellar" stuff. Brian (Charlotte49er @ Gold Rush Guys)

And if you see Tom Massie, tell him I said "hey".

Brian, Well said.! Look forward to doing biz w/ you again. Thanks for the Great! service.
