I don't think so, the old radio and TV tubes were muti-pinned. I would go along with a fuse insert.

It might be a strange fuse end but I don't think so. For one thing they are usually indented on the end and crimped inward where they fasten to the cardboard. This thing looks darn familiar, but can'tr quite place it yet. Sasnz idea of "part of a radio" or something close to that makes some sense, as this looks somewhat like the outer shell to a capacitor.

I bought some plants for my flower garden and they came in small pots like that. A little plackard with a stick went into that slot to tell what the plant was. New ones are plastic though. Monty
