I have no idea how many cubic yards of dirt I have moved since my initial post on Phase 4 of my cemetery project.
I know I have moved a lot of dirt, and have found hints that the grave stones are buried there, but so far, I haven't found the pocket they all were buried in.

Below is a pic of the unmarked Grave Slates I have found so far.

..and a photo of the rocks I have recovered so far. Some of the larger ones were used as grave markers, too. The smaller ones I think are just rocks, although the all came for the same level of dirt.. They all will be used eventually to build a memorial for those who are buried there.

Below are the teasers I have recovered so far. I knocked the Walter Jones stone with the backhoe. oops..but it is bound to happen!

One more partial stone I found. I hope to eventually find the other half.

My skid steer sprung a major leak today, so everything is back on hold until I can get it fixed. I use the backhoe to gently scratch through the piles of dirt looking for anything I can find. Then I use the skid steer to move the dirt.

Thanks for looking! I will post updates if and when I find more.

Turns out I cracked a casing on my skid steer. Right now, they are looking into options to fix it. They are thinking they will have to grind a v-groove in it and then weld it. :-\

Creskol nice job. There is a cemetery project taking place across the street from where I work. I really don't know anything about it or who is involved this project. I just thought I would share some photos.

Thank you, Ed! That's a nice looking cemetery, and it will look fantastic when the restoration is complete. Thanks for sharing those photos.

I should be back in business by Thursday, weather permitting. I will keep you posted on the happenings.
