I have been Cap Half Busted, seated and Shielded all in same day! AWESOME!!!

Hey,
Everyone it been a while, last couple hunts just were not that interesting, a few thing which is good ,but nothing like today! Back to the 500 acre farm with a couple houses that were there till 1860 and 1901 all farm land now , love it no cross contamination. The shield ,no date yet, seated Quarter 1877 CC , and the cap bust half dime 1835, a few other finds ,a lot of pewter, some i did not show they were just blobs of poured pewter, the long pewter piece , may be a ladle ?? octagon shaped handle. Musket ball's as usual , buckle with the leather still in it, i think that was just amazing!

I just go over the same places in different weather conditions and different directions, takes a lot of time and patience, take maps, make maps, go high ground ,low ground , near water, in the woods and it has always has paid off.

Very nice finds so early in the year! I have a question...your name is “Colonial Digger” yet you are in Illinois! Did you move there from the east coast? I can’t imagine colonial items in Illinois, unless I don’t know my history that well! Regardless of the name, the finds are top notch!
