Would "'super glue" be an effective product to close this thin break on the rim of the protector?

If not, what would you suggest as a remedy so that I can continue using this protector?

I do have a new "spare" cover , but would prefer to effectively repair this one at this time.

I would appreciate any advice regarding this problem.

Thank you,

Lorraine

Thank you, Bigscoop.

Where can I purchase this fiberglass cloth...maybe Home Depot?

Lorraine

Hardwear stores, Harbor Freight, marinas, Home Depot probably has it. It comes in different grades/mesh sizes but all you need is just the fine/thin stuff. I usually buy a pack of patch cloth with different sizes patch just to keep around he house. Comes in handy. You can buy the fiberglass resin but you don't really need to for what you're using it for.

Let me add my choice..... aqua seal you get it from the dive shop. If you go with the marine epoxy i like loctite... good look to it. Marine epoxy is white.... aqua seal is clear.

Lorainne,
Sounds like it wouldn't work, but good old black electrical tape holds up well sometimes. You won't have any difficulties taking it back off like some of the other products suggested.

Thank you for the advice, dewcon.

Thank you for your advice, NYwaterhunter; I have plenty of electrical tape hanging around on the garage shelves.
