These were dug at a 1906, now closed school, next to Ft Griswold... site of our only CT battle...

This apprear to be a lion head in the middle... *shrug*

1'st one looks like a drawer handle
2'nd front side of a button
3'rd a chewed up dog tag

All I can make out on the third one is "BRIGADOON". Hope it helps.

BRigadoon is a type of plante (Hypericum calycinum). So with Coral Acres being a nursery, I,d say you got a plant identification tag.

Here's some scientific guessing: if the smaller cartridge is a .22 rimfire, the larger cartridge appears to be a .32. And you say they are both rimfires. So it can be a .32 rimfire short or long, depending on how much was torn off. I guess these were introduced around 1890 and disappeared from common use between the World Wars. But they hang on as collectors items. A real firearms expert could tell you more.
