Got permission for a farm that has been occupied since the 1790's. Unfortunately it was detected once before about 10 yrs ago. But that didn't scare me away. The front yard was quite , i had to pass my coil over my shovel just to make sure it was working. Then all of a sudden... 0423170941.jpg My First standing liberty quarter !! A few wheaties and some clad came out of the front yard . Then as i turn the corner to the side yard bam! quarter signal about 8 inches down and out pops a 1900 barber quarter. another wheat and a 1915 buffalo came out of the side yard. Kinda disappointed nothing from the 1800's showed up but i can not complain. HH and may all your plugs be filled with treasure! 0423172048.jpg

Hell yeah! Great condition. Standing with a date is a good thing. :occasion14:

You are blessed! Great finds. Congrats

Beautiful condition on both of them coins! Great finds!

That is one fine SLQ. All the SLQ's I have dug are worn bad with no readable dates. Congrats.

I call that a fine day out - I got a dateless SLQ. last Sept. , haven't found a Barber quarter yet.

Nice finds, way to stick with the "hunted out" property.

Nice! A Barber quarter AND a Stander with a date! A rare bird, indeed..one of only a couple I've seen posted with a readable date..congrats on your great hunt...Ddf

Congrats on your first SLQ. They don't come up that often and most of the times they don't have a date. Nice going!

wow that is in great condition, nice find!
