Picked up a few rolls of dimes today. Got a box (skunk) >:( and $30 in customer rolled dimes. In one of the customer rolls I found my first watch battery ??? but in the same roll out pops a 64 . The roll was four dimes short but I guess I made out ok. Haven't check to see if the battery was any good. Also grabbed ten nickel rolls and one had a war nickel on the end...should have taken a photo but didn't have the patience to wait to get home to the camera.

That's funny.........it's crazy what is found in rolls of coins huh..........

Good luck on the next search.

Don't feel too bad about 4 dimes short. I just picked up 10 rolls of dimes at one bank Friday and one roll had only 40 dimes. Tell me how a teller doesn't notice that?????

Only reason I didn't was that I had 10 rolls of dimes and 10 rolls of nickels all in a heap and simply didn't notice.

Nasty short rolls!

Wish I pulled silver out of all of the rolls that I was shorted on! =)

Grats on the 64 dime.

And that war nick!

One one saving grace from my 40-dime roll was that one was a 2007-RCM Canadian dime, which I had not found yet. Eh, you take the good with the bad. So I'm a dollar short, who cares? You basically gain a dollar each time you pull a single silver dime so it always works out in my favor in the end.

Last week I found a penny that had been cut to the size of a dime. Hmmm... now that I think about it doing that would probably net you about 9 cents, as the coin counter obviously throws it in the dime bag. Perhaps I've stumbled upon a coin defacing conspiracy? Ok but seriously I hate the canadian dimes the most because I always think I've found silver only to be dissappointed.
