I got in on the race!

I finally upgraded all of my equipment and any to think everyone that gave insight on various machines. I decided on the Racer, Propointer AT, Killer Bee Waspmheadphones, and a Lesche digger.

I took it out for about three hours this morning and I'm really enjoying learning everything it's telling me. It's such a departure from the ACE 250. My trip to the park produced a hand full of clad and a large silver ring!

Little help for you. A few of us using the nokta Fors and racers have learned a few tricks. If you get a good signal test your target using the toe or heel of the coil..if you get sporadic signals as in the vdi jumps a lot in number and the sound isn't clear or has a grunt found before and after the tone the target is more than likely junk.
We have found that to be true on bottle caps and pop tops and testing now on other bad targets.

Thanks! What I've experienced so far is having a hard time determining a 12" deep pop can from a shallow quarter. Both read the same.
