I froze my butt off the last couple of hunts, but it was worth it.

The last few hunts have been short and sweet. I am warm blooded and can't handle this sub zero wind cutting into me while I am detecting. :tongue3:

I managed to find a couple of nice military buttons, my first 50-cent piece and a few relics and coppers.

1952 Canada 50 Cents. This one I found along the river. It is still quite tarnished...

Bout time....congrats on a half, is a good feeling when big silver comes a knocking.

2 VERY nice buttons, because I know nothing about them, can't say more than I'd like to find those.

Great hunt and awesome recoveries.

It can get as cold as it wants, as long as the shovel goes in the ground and the finds come out like yours, I'm there!

Great finds Geo!

Thanks, guys. When I saw the Georgius... I thought for sure I had an oldie. I'll take it. :)

I just took a penny that I also found today out of the peroxide. I knew it felt funny. Turns out it's one of them American flying eagle pennies. :)

WOW. Awesome finds. Congrats.:hello:

Wow congrats on the finds. That winds a kicker, I love the cold and hate the heat. Again congrats on thefinds.

Yup it's problay close to being over here for me till spring. Snowing like mad and freezing out. But if we get enough snow it'll keep that ground soft till the snow melts. Gotta pick our days wisely now lol.

Great finds!

Looks like the big NB piece has good edges, very little corrosion, and should clean up real nice.

Nice going on the silver half, and coppers and the great looking buttons. It's hard when the temps drop and the winds rip through to the point it takes the fun out the hunt. Then again popping those type of finds are great body warmers and keeps a person swinging.

Nice finds, all are very cool! Congrats on the half!

I wouldn't mind freezing my butt off for those finds! But it's usually my back that the cold gets to anyway haha.
Great finds, love the numbered buttons, you've been getting a good variety!

You've been nailing the buttons, you just need to find an earlier site and keep doing it!

It took me over 10 years to find my first 50 cents and when I did it was American.

Fantastic hunt Gio, thought you were out of service for a bit...good to see your still finding relics like those....

Great big silver day you had! Congrats on all the buttons! The lamp piece looks like the knob part used to raise the wick in a kerosene lamp. HH!
