🔎 UNIDENTIFIED I found some quartz recently but a portion of it is red .

I recently found some quartz and one of the pieces has a red section. I have never seen quartz with this deep of a Rd color before and was wondering what exactly it could be or if anyone else had seen this sort of thing. Thanks in advance !

It looks like an Amethyst geode to me. Amethyst is a purple form of quartz.

Yes I'm familiar with amethyst and it very well could be it is just a lot more red than I'm used to seeing. Either way pretty cool and wish it was bigger hahaha thanks for the responses everyone !
