that's great. always remember to drive responsibly. not only is it safe for you and those around you, but the benefits will extend throughout your life in the form cheaper insurance premiums. the money you save can have far reaching effects later in your life.
Some of the best times of your life ahead. But....been in Law Enforcement long enough to see lots of tragedy with young drivers. Not trying to sound like Po Po just a buddy who metal detects.....Have HUGE fun but be so.....so......so....careful. About the time you feel like you really got the hang of the road it WILL bite ya. Now get out and find ya some places to hunt and take me with ya if you find a honey hole.
As what tnguns said I have been in law enforcement a long time too and want to tell you that it's a great advantage to get a drivers license. But please don't get too comfortable with driving and think u can master anything. There are so many young drivers that I have seen and have had to work a few fatalities involving minors who got too comfortable and weren't watching their surroundings or just driving way too fast for the conditions. Don't ever let peer pressure get the best of you. About the time that happens is when something bad happens. Remember you don't have to prove to anybody how good a driver you are as long as you know your safe and responsible. Oh one more thing wear that seat belt and please no texting and driving. Take that license and your metal detector and start your journey in this awesome hobby that will stay with you a lifetime.
Congrat's on getting your license, Please remember that this is a job (driving). Stastistics Show that the #1 reason people in your age group
die in car crashes is cell phones, Texting and or talking....PLEASE be careful And remember you not only have to watch out for what your doing
BUT also what er'body else is doing as well....................Be Careful out Thar.......................HH
