I found my favorite store dumpster for boxes.

I am small time to most ebay sellers and still have to do a box run a few times a week. So far I found the best boxes in the Petco dumpster, they don't crush them and the variety in sizes is awesome. Whenever I have the item that needs THAT perfect box it seems to always be there.

I would bet that's a store by store thing though. What they do at your store may not be what they do at all Petco stores. I do agree though that hunting down boxes can be a pain. I almost always ship Ebay stuff Priority these days, usually flat rate, and the boxes are free from the post office and you can order them online and have them delivered. All free.

Yea I hear ya. But some items I list as priority shipping at the flat rate price say $12.50 for medium size I have scaled in a brown box. A lot of the time in the brown box priority shipping is cheaper in the brown by more than a few $. More money for me after ebay fee. Yummy

Dollar general here. There all stacked up in the back of the store. For the larger boxes there is a auto parts store across the road.

I work for a printing company and I have not had to buy a box in years. I will not use the company boxes, they have our name and phone in big red letters, but we get a lot of supplies and envelopes in all sorts of smaller sizes.

I have a hidden area in an unused office. Whenever I see a good box I grab it and stick it in my box stash office.

I bought some small pizza type boxes quite a few years ago and still trying to use then up. 25 ea of 2 diff sizes. got them at a place called papermart, great prices. what they have for 25¢ Staples will sell for $1.50

most things I sell are too big for these. I need to use them up so I can have more ebay storage space.

You have to be careful of some of the real cheap Chinese cardboard boxes that they have in Dollar General store. If your shipping fragile anyway. A friend of mine is the manager at the one down the street and I do get a few boxes there too, sometimes. I can put my finger through some of those boxes they are so cheap.
