I found an axe today

Went back out to the woods today. Didn't seem as hot as it has been but I still came out looking like I hadn't had a bath in about a month....I don't know how I manage to get so dirty!

Here are today's finds.....

The axe is really heavy--- five pounds! Do they normally weigh this much?

Anyhow....had a great time!

It looks like after the handle broke they used the axe head as a wedge. It's seen some force! You know that shotgun shell is live don't ya?

Thanks for the replies yall!

Here lately I'm thinking maybe I should have me a shack built out there....seems it's about the only place I hunt! But it is lots of fun!

I started off the day fishin and the dogs took care of that for me...couldn't keep them out of the water....so.....grabbed the detector and went huntin!

I do know that the shell is still live and I put it in the basement in a jar with the others.....(someone here said they were harmless unless I hit them with the hammer) :P

I don't know what the crushed thing is af

And yes.....it is very nice to find something other than bullets........
