magic trick coin missing the front cover--- back of the ken half was hollow fit over big penny like a sleeve and was "attached" to the british big penny ---front cover of the ken was "loose" and came off in plam of other hand--- ta da!! magic 101----Ivan

The one I found recently had a 20-centavo coin on the back. Take it apart, and the back of the 20-centavo coin was the actual back of the Kennedy. So I coulda put it back together with the Kennedy reverse showing, and turned it in, and nobody would ever know it was a magician's prop.
;D

I haven't found one CRHing, but I did find something similar in the late 70's while metal detecting. I dug up a Mercury dime, put it in my pocket, and when I got home and pulled the coins out to look at it again, it wasn't there! I starting going through the Wheat cents to look at dates, and when I turned one of them over, the front was the mercury dime, and the back was the wheatback. Really threw me off!

Great find MM. I think Ivan hit the nail on the head......the obverse portion of this "magic" coin is missing. It is fun finding those. WTG.

Or it might be like mine, where the obverse (mine is the reverse that is hollowed out) of the coin is on the inside...
