I figure that someone would get rid of a licence plate 10-20 years after being issued. I bet this plate was chucked off the side of the highway sometime in the 1950s. Out here in the California Mountains were I detect I find alot of licence plates, hub caps and railroad spikes! There was a narrow guage railroad used to transport redwood trees to the lumber mills.

Nice.....
Over here in the East, people love to buy the plates that match their classic car date....
what is the beer can that you have in your avatar?

I think old licence plates are cool, I also find metal california licence plate renew tags like these.
