I was thinking a destroyer...but james is right...an aircraft carrier is bout right...maybe

They never said any thing that was not true .. So the ad is telling the truth..

...but as I said, "misleading". Can just about guarantee that some novice has bought one with the intent of finding 4ft deep coins and been disappointed.

Dang it I bought fancy detector when could spend $120.00 and be finding chest of gold and silver I wonder if you put ten coil do go down ten feet. A sucker born ever minute?

they did not say what you could find at 4 ft and it will find certain items at 4 ft

I understand that. Please disregard the intended humor in my original post.

Can you imagine how terrible it would be if true?

"What'd you get today?"
"Well, got 6 strong signals, spent 8 hours digging, another hour refilling the holes, so...5 pull tabs and a toasted memorial"

Your OP was fine i know what you mean .. You know all these company's no matter what they sell will put in misleading ad's like that ...... The ad will give us a laugh ..

4ft deep I sure don't want to dig a hole 4 ft deep I hate to dig a hole 2 ft deep.

If you buy 2 you can detect to 8 feet. :P

I'm too lazy to dig that deep. If it's past the end of my Lesch hand digger, I'm walking away.

With the cash you save on the BH you could hire someone to dig that hole for ya!

Well then I'm happy with my M6 then it found a Ford 150 in a 4 foot snow bank this past winter....does that count?

Good thing Cabelas doesn't sale a detector that would detect lies :headbang:

I think the ad is correct...as long as the item is in a four foot deep hole and you stick the BH down in that four foot deep hole it probably will detect the item, about the only way...also if the ad meant the "4" part but meant inches instead of feet they would have been telling the truth...up to 4" deep is about right for BH
