I dug a BIG SILVER COIN today! 1943 Australian Florin!!

I didn't think I was going to find anytime to go detecting today but I decided to hunt a little park in Springfield that I never knew about until last week. My 16 year old son got a job at the Food for Lane County Youth Farm in Springfield ~ I dropped him off for his first day of work and noticed this little community park near by. The park's sign states that the park was established in 1954. So I thought I'd try it out! Here's what I dug today:

1943 One Florin Australia on a ring with a key
11 clad quarters
23 clad dimes
14 nickels
53 memorial cents
2 2007 Chuck E. Cheese tokens
1 LTD bus token

I'd love to find some spots to detect in St. Anthony! Maybe find an old trade token or two!
