I don't remember my last trip to the Barber. Before today, of course.
Back at an old home site in the neighborhood where I grew up, I started on a plateau and radiated out away from a center and managed to find evidence that man once occupied this site. There were lots of rusted and broken square nails, always a sign of something, and my first coin was a 1914 wheat. On a typical day, that might be the oldest find of the hunt, but I was pleasantly surprised a little while later with this 1908 Barber dime! I'd have to do some research to see when I last found a Barber, but for now we're just going to gaze longingly into each other's eyes. Unfortunately, the pictures are slightly out of focus; my inept phone just wouldn't hold. Or maybe it was me.
