Good day All,
I am new to the site, yesterday I saw this section and reminded me that I had some arrowheads and misc pcs. About 30 years ago my dad was having a pond dug on our property and there was 1 side of the pond where I would find the arrowheads and misc pieces. Unfortunately I did not take proper care of the collection and let my kids take them in sandwich baggies to show at school for projects. Some of the best pieces never made it back home. These were all found in 1 small area of Washington County Alabama. Some are arrow heads, broken pieces of pottery, petrified wood and 1 pc that appears to be some kind of tusk or tooth. I honestly dont know. Would appreciate some of you knowledgeable folks giving me your opinions on what I have. Would these be from Creek, Choctaw or what?

Nice artifacts ,looks like some points, scrapers and blunts on the top along with a tusk of some sort on the right, lots of pottery shards as well...good stuff.

Any chance you can post a close up of the pottery, would be nice to see the pattern. Nice lot of good finds.

1320 , I will post some more tonight or tomorrow. Thanks

hello Big!! and welcome to Tnet--AIA forum from Tmodel!! on the central highland rim of east Tennessee. on the 3rd row up left side 3rd and 4th artifacts are you sure those 2 pisces are pottery or could they be sandstone, if sandstone they could be abraters for smoothing arrow shafts or other things. can not tell from photos. Terry

does your camera have a 'macro' setting (looks like a flower) to take close up photos. most digital cameras do. this will help to get in-focus pics.
Cheers

Can see some detail on the close ups

Do you still have access to that site? I'm sure there are more to be found. Great collection, thanks for sharing.
