I DID IT, I DID IT-first silver '07
Ok, this is gonna sound like a bad joke, but the punchline makes me smile-
I walked into a bar(it's a bar/grill, used to be on the premisis of an amusement park), and I says to the bartender,"hey, can I speak with a manager?"(I used to know the manager, but found out today she hasn't worked there in over 4 months-oh, poop), so, she steps in the back and grabs the manager( I had no idea who this person was gonna be, so I was a little nervous about getting permission to hunt) and from the kitchen out comes a very good friend of mine, he used to bartend at a place I was a regular at, now he comes into the bar I DJ at regularly. SOOOO cool !!! I asked him permission, and he went and talked to the owner, who said no problem, just don't find a million without being willing to share(greedy bast@rds). Had a quick chat and I was off. I had about an hour and then the rain set in, I pulled a '36 wheat earlier(at another site), and after about 25 mins. got a '57 at this spot. I made it to the area of an old picnic spot and my MD sounded off like the liberty bell !! There is nothing like seeing that gleam in the dirt, man NOTHIN' on earth looks like that, nearly 50 years in the ground and it just keeps shinin' for me. SOOOO cool !!! Anyway, finally broke the silver barrier in '07, maybe I'll get a chance to get out tomorrow and repeat the process. What a great day, January silver !!
The second and third pics are what I "discovered" in my mailbox yesterday, no I didn't dig it, just wanted to share(brag). May all your dreams be happy, and may all your change be silver. - HH all
