I found this coin in England in 05. It got lost in my suitcase.(costoms people dumped all my coins out . ) They don't understand the concept of zip-loc bags. I was cleaning out my suitcase for a trip and found it in the lineing.

The coin is very thin and is about dime size. I tried some research and think it is from the Hapsburg Empire, but I don't know which country. Any help would be appricated.

Les,

I think this is a 1 Mariengroschen. It is a German napoleonic coin from the territory of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel in the Holy Roman Empire.

check this link: http://www.napoleonicmedals.org/coins/brwl05-1.htm

Nice find!
