It rolls around the bottom along with many others in a water treatment plant .
Here is a couple of mine , they keep the sludge broken up, they are discarded when they get to small.

That's an interesting thought. Never knew there were "sludge balls".

I used to work in ESP (evironmental services Protection) and we stirred the sludge with an arm, that had holes in it with a light venturi action, the top sludge would be brought up, dewatered and turned into what looked like turds. They were put into a drying oven, and the the boiler plant used it for fuel. Of course, it was all from the pulp and paper mills.

chinese type "stress" balls normally there are two you roll them around in your hands .
