Hi Folks,

I been using my Vaquero and my Euro Sabre. Haven’t been
coming up with much except some clad and a few odds and
ends.

I did find an old dumping site at the park. I found a couple
of zinc canning lids and I even found an old Ball Jelly Canning
Jar that is intact. Probably dates around the 1930’s. Found
a couple of pieces of old china plates.

Today I was searching in a grassey area in the park with my
Euro Sabre and I finally broke my jewelry drought with a
925 silver ear ring with a black stone, and a nice looking
silver cross.

I also found two one dollar coins. A Presidential and a
Sacagawea Dollar. There’s a pendant with an “E” on it and
an old Hot Wheels car.

I’ve been scouting for hunting grounds, but mostly staying
close to home. Maybe I’ll come up with something new before
long.

Well that’s about it for the last four days.

Happy Hunting,

After pulling all that trash out of the ground you should start finding some real good stuff. Nice dollars!

Way to go "tabdog". Very nice finds. Parks are my favorite also. I find lots
of coins but not alot of jewelry. I guess my coil is just not going over it.

Hay Blklab,

When you said:

I find lots of coins but not alot of jewelry.

I guess my coil is just not going over it

That bothered me. Just couldn't get it out of my

mind.

Seems like you should be finding some jewelry.

The DFX and the X2 both should be finding gold

jewelry for you. I found most of mine with a $70

used Compadre. Compadre will put the 250 to

shame, but not the DFX and the X2.

I happen to know that there are over 50 city parks

with playgrounds in Overland Park.

I would hope that they don't stay hunted out????

Sand volley ball courts and on and on.

Most of my jewelry, including gold, was found in

playgrounds. Fresh water beaches are good also.

In playgrounds, digging is easy and there is a good

chance of finding jewelry.

I use no discrimination and dig everything that's not

like big deep iron or something to big to dig.

I have dug trash and tabs until I can tell you what

the tab is gonna look like before I dig it.

But I still dig them. I look at it like digging clad.

But, just every once in a while, I dig one of these.

That 14k gold ring with a 1/5th ct pare shaped

diamond responds like the little bit of rolled up

foil on the bottom right, but a little tighter.

This silver ear ring I found today,

sounded just like the tab that's on the middle roll,

and third from the left.

These rings all sounded like trash.

This one sounded between a pull tab and a clad penny.

But out of one small hole, I first dug a pull tab, a clad

penny and then the gold ring. It was in heavy trash. It

is common to dig multiple targets there.

I work trashy sites quite often.

If you use any discrimination or programs that notch

stuff out, you probably are passing you're coil over

jewelry
now and then.

Don't know if I am being presumptious, but I think

you should be finding gold.

Hope I haven't insulted you.

It's just that I find quit a bit of gold jewelry.

If I can do it, anyone can do it.

Happy Hunting,

Tabdog
