Who made this bowl? What is the spelling of the signer? I think it was made before the 50's if that helps.

Burdie....I do think your bowl is a Rene Lalique http://www.renelaliqueglass.com/ If you look thru this link you might see something similar. If it is a Lalique, you have a very valuable bowl. Good Luck if you decide to sell it. Definately worth having an expert take a look.

Pressed pattern then acid etched to get a frosted look. The signature will need verification. It looks like a diamond pen sig, which does not look right. Not what the signature says. Who actually made it?? Well a lot of company's make such.

I can be wrong, so have the sig verified by a reputable appraiser or dealer.

On the sig it appears to be a messed up attempt at Verlys.
