✅ SOLVED I am new and have no idea what this may be ?

I found this in Va in Westmoreland Co on a property that had a home built in the 1840s. Also found a flat button and penny’s from 1860s and a silver dime dated 1903 and some hand made nails. This was 9in down. Please let me know if there is any other info that Could help identify objects.

something saddle or horse tack related most likely. Those prongs were for attaching to leather.
