Hello from Reno. I had been prospecting and metal detecting for most of my life it seems. I gave it up for severl years for one reason or another. It turns out I cannot stay away from it. This is just TOO much fun. And perhaps, if we are fortunate and persistent, profitable.
I had fitted a back pack with a 6 gallon bucket that worked real well for prospecting trips. It has disappeared along with most of my old equipment. But then I found this. Some of you may want to check it out. Products | Five Gallon Pack

These things work great for sharp and bulky items that you don't want to be poked with.
