I always travel with a detector but have never had an opportunity to get out. Today I find myself in Columbia, MD (at the last minute) with ALL day to detect and no where to go.

I know its been a long time since I've posted but if anyone could give a suggestion or two it truly would be appreciated. I'd be willing to drive a couple hours in any direction. Heck I'd even be willing to come get you and buy lunch. Yes, that is a bribe.

Im 55 and live south of Nashville, TN and have hunted numerous Civil War sites but this is my first opportunity to possibly detect a Revolutionary War site. Not to mention my oldest coin is from 1881, A seated liberty dime. Never a large copper.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
