I like these too. Especially when you can get them for next to nothing. I found a beautiful red one over the summer!

That's exactly what they are.Glass coasters.

I bought 10 a couple weeks ago for $1. But scraped them. They were pretty bent up. Think it is something like 12 grams per coaster. Maybe?

That sounds about right for grams + or -. I've had to scrap some too but the nicer ones I flip at my yard sales. I sold a set of four or five to my neighbor a couple years ago. They were really nice and he bought them for a friends wedding gift. They loved vintage stuff and were perfect. It was a win-win for all!
