My first bike! I've been sitting on the back of his for 10 years so it's about time!

I am still doing private riding lessons. Today he drove my bike up to the High School parking lot and I did start her up, put her in 1st and drove around the parking lot. Boy.....what a machine. I did stall her a few times trying to get that clutch/throttle in sync. Her color is the new "Amber Whiskey" which reminds me of Willie singing "Whiskey River" I just love her! Jon(hubby) is very anxious for me to just jump on and go, he does not realize this is a whole new ball-game for me.... it takes time....at least for me, and for my comfort level has to get there also. But he wants us to go for rides together before it's winter time here.
