I went back to the same area where he found it and followed that 'FEELING " thing you know. Did a little research on the site. An old grange building that was torn down but I remembered where the entry way steps were. Went around that area and got that copper tingle. One Wheatie, two Wheaties, three Wheaties, four...holy cow all in the same hole. Still signaling. Another one. well that's just too cool. Finally no more signals but a foot away another one and five feet another one! Whew.... Now for the piece de resistance (did I spell that right?). The years on them are expected; 1944, 1942, 1945. Then the surprise...1929, 1926 and 1909. 1909? Am I seeing this right? Wow. Do some quick research, found out its the first year of the Wheatie and if it has an S mark it's worth a minimum of $116. Well my luck only went so far.. no S mark. Came back the next day and found a 1951. The competition between Kirk and I is getting bloody. Now he has a vendetta and must get even. Ah but I have more time to dig than he does so we will see who gets what.
