Nice beach photo Tony, you found 5 times as much as i did on my beach. I was expecting some awesome finds and all that Matthew did was spread the sand around and smooth the beach.

Not good news in general, but always to get something. I've been skunked many times before, if not for collecting glass and seashells.

when I am out on the beach I refuse to leave until I have found something of value LOL. Albeit a penny, I have to find something.

I appreciate this post as it satiates some of my curiosity. I was unsure if I would offend someone that may have suffered loss during the storm, if I posted a question. But I sure did wonder how it would effect someones detecting.

Wow your finds looks identical to mine this morning. Tons of beach washed away but there was little beach left. I left at low tide and there was very little beach to even detect on. I imagine at high tide its up to the dunes. Going to try a different spot tomorrow.

That's a good day for me

Lots of sand pushed up onto the dunes. Lower beach was hard pan but all new sand. Twenty to Thirty yards out into the surf the bottom was like quick sand...

You were able to go in the water?

I have ventured in to about knee deep so far here in the Daytona Beach area. Current is still too strong with elevated dirty surf. Lots of hotel railings and other large metal debris in the surf.
