Got evacuated.........unpicked-up half dollar boxes all over town, missed chances for re-orders. bags of quarters and halves came with me in the car, bags of nickels and pennies stayed home to weather out the storm. Spent wayyy too much on gas and amenities while evacuated. Have no idea how much money I have, it just looks like a bunch of change to me. Last week was the first week I haven't found silver in quite awhile.

Anyone else suffer this fate?

Also got hit pretty hard over here and it still continues. I didn't get evacuated, but went without power for a week until this morning, we have gas shortages, had about $50 in food spoilage, spending a lot of money on amenities (eating out). My train to get into the city started running with limited service on Thursday and I had gone into half dollar overdrive with the banks that had my backed orders. On Thursday and Friday I was able to do 3 boxes a day, before work, at lunch, and after work, but the banks were very understanding, and some of them were closed as well. Just be prepared to work hard to drain the halves from the banks next week! Hope all is well in regards to being evacuated. I hope your people and property are safe and sound.

It will get better SFB. We were more fortunate up here in Northern NJ. We did lose power for a few days but had a generator. Still, most if not all of my pickup banks are still without power so not only didn't they order last week, they may not be there to order for this week either. Time will tell. Worse part for me in this latest storm was shattering my windshield, damaging my car roof and breaking my antenna trying to get into work Tuesday morning. The big boss wouldn't close down the plant for that morning. They did send a message saying it was closed an hour after everyone was supposed to start work. Next time, i'll use my own common sense. Still fortunate considering those poor folks on the Jersey coast.

Thanks for the best wishes everyone. Sounds like many of us got affected by it, but none of us too bad. Glad you are all OK as well. Moutainman that must've been one heck of a drive in the wind!

Sad to say, but this is a good time to buy bags.. people are dumping collections..

some of those collections will probably show up in boxes too, but yea, bags are a great way to get intact collections (much less dilution). I still haven't found anyone in my area that will sell me bags. If I could find them, I'd do them exclusively over boxes

Hey don't forget about Dimes 101 his house was flooded. Not to try to say that your insensitive, but he did get hit a lot harder than most. I was also thinking about the collection dumps, maybe in a month or two they will show up.
