HUPMOBILE COMMEMORATIVE TOKEN

While metal detecing in a park in Waukegan, IL., back in the 1980's, I dug up this interesting token. It says "HUPMOBILE - 25TH ANNIVERSARY" on one side and "THE CAR OF THE CAREFUL INVESTOR" on the reverse side. It was manufactured by the Hupp Motor Co. from 1909 through 1940 in Detroit, MI and Cleveland, OH. Evidently, the token was made in 1934.

When I found this token in Waukegan, I was using one of the Garrett ADS Deepseeker models, not sure which. As I can recall, it was, only, 3-4" deep.
