I made it out of the house today about 6am and headed out. I went to the park by my house since they had just cut the grass. Did not have too much luck there so I left after about 50 pull tabs. I went to Russell Cave Elementary school and there were a few cars there and I ran the door bell to ask for permission but no luck no one had answered the door bell and beside there was contruction going on or something. I headed to Mary Todd Elementary school and it looked like summer school was going on so I did not attempt there. I drove across town and went to Jacobson Park and hunted the area where they play movies and found 1 set of tweezers, 1 hair bow, one dime (2005) and many pull tabs and cans. I went to the soccer field across the road and found a penny (1978) my birth year and other than that the ground was hard and found more cans and pull tabs. I decided to leave and since I was close to Athens Elementary School I tried there and had no luck and the rain came rolling in. I proceeded to head home and heard on the radio that the fair opens at 5pm on weekdays and 3pm on the weekends and by this time it was about 12pm so I drove to the fair grounds. Where I hunted the parking area. I found a total of 80 cents. Three quarters (2*1965 and 1*2003) and 5 pennies (nothing older then 80's) I did find a new ferarri and half of a hot pink 57 chevy car and many more beer cans and pull tabs. Then the thunder started rolling in and I decided to call it quits for the day at 2pm. The good thing was that the park staff was cutting the grass at the fair grounds while I was there and the grass will be lower my next trip out there.
