it's a little rough but wondering if anyone can id it for him?

Yeah that's it. Hardtimes token was third on my list to check, but after Canadian Halfpenny tokens, and British Condor tokens, I quit. There's a lot of ship coins out there!

Yup its a hard times token I found one exactly like while detecting in some water last year.
