Hunting mississippi

I made the journey to a friends house from my place in louisiana and last night we decided to go detect for a couple hours... We was hunting a really old site that has been detected before but we did end up finding some good stuff... Not exactly sure what I've got but I'm thinking its a pill box. See what you guys think. As for my friend he made one heck of a find and it was a first for him but ill let him share that one. Now we waitin for the rain to stop to get our today. Ill post more pics of it clean later.. It kind of looks like an old snuff tin. Back in the days snuff was ground into a powder and people would snort a little bit of it. No kidding! It was tobacco but still kind of strange if you ask me. The tins were pretty small. I saw one with the snuff in it. Up until then, snuff to me was what my grandfather used, but it was Skoal.

I haven't cleaned it yet but there is glass on one side of the inside... Would there be glass on the inside

Try looking under the name "Hudnut". I found a small top of a compct one time that kinda looked like this.

I was thinking that it was a compact when I looked at the pictures.

Yeah that's what I think it is, the glass turned out to be a mirror and the white corrosion looking stuff was the makeup I think
